New Recipes
We’ve tried a few new recipes lately, but I cannot get the pictures to upload!
Everything is genally the same old, same old around here, I guess.
School!
Not for the kids, but for me! I forgot to post it sooner, but now I am in the middle of my first college class in pursuit of a “Database Certificate” from the community college. It’s an online class, I will stick to most or all online course if possible, I think. It will take about 3 years. I know you are all very excited 
I signed up for my fall classes (just two, lol) yesterday.
Less exciting week
Didn’t do much this week. Michael’s class had water day at school. I got a frame for our family portrait from October. Maybe we’ll get that up on the wall soon. I went to the dentist; my teeth are nice and healthy Have to take MaryBeth to the dentist soon, aslo. Michael wants to come along and watch. LOL.
It was a good week!
We had our carpet cleaned on Wednesday, and it was much more exciting than it sounds. LOL. We had never had the carpet cleaned before, but had done some of it ourselves sometimes. I would say that drinking coffee and watching somebody else clean the carpet is definitely the preferred method. LOL. And they did the WHOLE house. And they were so fast. It’s so clean now I could cry
On Friday I passed my Excel Expert exam. So I am also really happy about that
The kids are both feeling well. We took the front off of Michael’s crib so it is a “big boy” bed now. He’s, um, adjusting to his new found freedom.
Back from vacation

We took the kids to the beach in Galveston with my mom, we went berry picking with the kids and my mom, we then drove to San Antonio and the kids got to see Adam’s parents and all their cousins which was great fun. We went to church, went swimming, ate yummy food, and generally wore ourselves out.
Almost summer
We get to go on vacation this week!!! We haven’t taken a trip out of town for quite a while. We’re going to visit my mom and then my dad and Adam’s family. It will be a lot of driving, but it should be a good time. I’m going to actually take a bunch of pictures on this trip, I’ve been slacking off on that lately! I’m really excited to see everybody, and I know the kids are, too!
Michael is doing super well with his potty training. He has more accidents at home than at school though. I don’t know why!
I think today I’ll be doing not exciting stuff like cleaning and maybe I’ll bake something. Or just be lazy and relax. Not sure. Adam’s working for awhile, he’s going to bring some delicious food home so I don’t have to really cook anything major
